Google Pixel XL First Google-Branded Phone
At an event in San Francisco on Tuesday, Google unveiled the Google Pixel and Google Pixel XL, first Google-branded smartphones. As we’d reported in August, India is one of the launch markets for the phone, with Google Pixel price in India to start at Rs. 57,000, with pre-orders set to begin October 13. The phone will be available from Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and Croma, as well as smaller retailers, with a retail availability at the “end of October” according to Google.
Google Pixel XL smartphone was launched in October 2016. The phone accompanies a 5.50-inch touchscreen show with a determination of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels at a PPI of 534 pixels for every inch.This Mobile has New Features like Google Assistant, Allo and Duo.
The Google Pixel XL is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor and it comes with 4GB of RAM. The phone packs 32GB of internal storage cannot be expanded.The Google Pixel XL packs a 12.3-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 8-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
The Google Pixel XL runs Android 7.1 and is powered by a 3450mAh non removable battery. It measures 154.70 x 75.70 x 8.50 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 168.00 grams.
The Google Pixel XL is a single SIM (GSM) smartphone that accepts a Nano-SIM. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.
Google has opted for an industrial design, with an aerospace-grade aluminum body and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 screen.

Google Assistant:Pixel comes with Google Assistant built in, so like with Apple’s Siri, you can ask it a question by saying “OK Google” or holding down the Home button. Google Assistant is more advanced than Siri in some ways, allowing you to have a natural two-way conversation. For example, you can say, “OK Google, where is the nearest cafe? And then tap the mic icon and follow up with “Remind me to leave for coffee with Jamie at 7am”. Other features: The Pixel phones come with Google’s newest apps Allo and Duo pre-installed so you can video call and text with all your friends, whether they’re on Android or iOS. They also come with quick charging technology, so you can get up to 7 hours of battery life with just 15 minutes of charging.
